Wittpenn Bridge

Vigor fabricated the complete lift span for the Wittpenn Bridge over the Hackensack River in New Jersey with its highly complex orthotropic deck including floor beams, box girders and end floor beams.

Vigor's successful completion of this project for prime contractor CCA Civil was due in large part to innovative manufacturing techniques and the use of robotics and laser seam tracking, developed by Vigor specifically for the project. The patent is now pending for our process of fabricating and welding orthotropic decks.
